Job summary

Security 1 Solutions is seeking a Contract Security Officer for a full-time role at the Pentagon Force Protection Agency assignment in Virginia. The CSO will guard assigned locations, enforce access control, and respond to incidents while communicating with diverse personnel including DoD members and visitors.

Qualifications include U.S. citizenship, 21+ years old, grooming/uniform standards, a high school diploma or GED, and DoD clearance; an Armed DCJS license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must comply with grooming and uniform standards.
• Must be high school/GED graduate.
• Must posses a clearance issued by U.S. Department of Defense.
• Armed DCJS License is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs security patrols.
• Enforces access control procedures.
• Protects property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire and accidents.
• Investigates and writes reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards and other security related situations.
• Provides needed assistance to customers, employees and visitors following procedures.
• May perform other related duties as assigned by the Site Captain/Lieutenant and/or security Project Manager.
