Job summary

Dpcsecurity is seeking a Contract Security Officer for the Pentagon Force Protection Agency at Meadows One, Chantilly, VA. This full-time position carries a pay rate of $48.39 per hour and requires Top Secret-SCI clearance and an armed DCJS license.

Responsibilities include security patrols, enforcing access control, protecting assets, and reporting incidents. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, 21+, with a HS diploma/GED, and meet one of several qualifying paths.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have one of: 3 years security experience OR an associate's degree or 60 college hours OR 3 years military service with honorable discharge OR POST completion.
• Must possess a Top Secret-SCI clearance (DoD).
• Armed DCJS License required.
• Must pass physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Be able to read and communicate in English clearly.
• Be able to perform security patrols.
• Enforce access control procedures.
• Protect property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire and accidents.
• Investigate and write reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards.
• Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors following procedures.
• May perform other related duties as assigned by site leadership.
