The ideal candidate will have a valid Georgia Armed Guard License, strong communication skills, and be at least 21 years old. Compensation ranges from $22.50 to $23.50 per hour, with hours aligning with the school calendar and weekend/holiday typically off.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Georgia Armed Guard License required.
• Clean criminal background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
• Reside in or commute to Savannah, GA area.
• Availability Monday through Friday during school hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security coverage at assigned K-12 campus(es).
• Monitor access points and control entry to school buildings.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of buildings and grounds.
• Coordinate with school administration and local law enforcement.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
• Assist with emergency drills and safety protocols.
