Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Part Time in Eden, NC. You will patrol education and other facilities, maintain a visible deterrence, and support access control while delivering professional customer service.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, armed guard card, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. You’ll join a responsive team that values integrity, teamwork, and flexible scheduling through our Earn More platform.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required in the state where the job is located.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background and licensing regulations may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or patients while following site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to campus protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and support access-control procedures for educational facilities.
• Document observations and actions in reports and communicate to leadership and site contacts.
