Job summary

Allied Universal, Eden, NC, is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Part Time to protect students, faculty, staff and visitors at an educational campus. You will perform armed patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and support campus safety procedures.

The role offers a flexible part-time schedule with a driving component and opportunities to grow within a national security company.

Qualifications

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and support access-control procedures for educational facilities, verifying authorization as directed by site-specific policies.
Document observations, incidents, and actions taken through accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
