Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Access Gate in Boca Raton, FL to safeguard clients across industries. You will monitor entry points, verify access, and respond to security concerns while delivering excellent customer service.

As an Armed Access Control Officer, you will maintain a welcoming, controlled environment, perform random patrols, and escalate incidents per site procedures. You must meet armed-guard requirements and be at least 21.

Qualifications

• Valid armed guard card or license.
• At least 6 months of armed security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to members, guests, residents, and staff by following access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify authorized access, and manage visitor credentials and records.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns calmly, escalating according to site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with guests, vendors, and staff at controlled access points.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, common areas, parking and perimeter.
