Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced ARM Server Platform I/O & Interconnect Software Architect to lead the architecture and software enablement of PCIe, CXL, and Interrupt Controller subsystems for next-generation ARM server SoCs.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ARM server architecture, PCIe and CXL technologies, interrupt controller architecture (ARM GIC), virtualization, firmware, and Linux kernel internals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering or related work experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• 7+ years with a Master's degree.
• 6+ years with a PhD in Engineering/CS.
• Experience with C, C++, Java, Python or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Own the software architecture for PCIe, CXL, and Interrupt Controller subsystems across ARM server platforms.
• Drive architecture and software enablement across firmware and HLOS components (UEFI/EDK2, TF-A, OpenBMC, Linux Kernel, KVM).
• Collaborate with SoC architects, CPU teams, hardware design, firmware, and validation to deliver production-quality solutions.
• Lead architecture reviews and align software requirements with silicon and platform design teams.
• Define platform software requirements for industry standards (ARM SBSA/SBBR/SystemReady/PCI-SIG/CXL/ACPI/UEFI).
