Qualcomm is seeking an experienced ARM Server Platform I/O & Interconnect Software Architect to lead the architecture and software enablement of PCIe, CXL, and Interrupt Controller subsystems for next‑generation ARM server SoCs in Santa Clara, California.

The role spans firmware, OS, virtualization, and platform design, with collaboration across SoC, CPU, hardware, Linux kernel, validation, and customer teams to deliver production‑quality, standards‑compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering.
• 4+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python.
• 10+ years of experience in systems software, platform firmware, OS, or SoC architecture.
• Strong understanding of ARM64 server architecture and modern server platform design.

Responsibilities

• Own PCIe, CXL, and Interrupt Controller software architecture across ARM server platforms.
• Drive firmware and HLOS enablement, including UEFI/EDK2, TF-A, OpenBMC, Linux kernel, and KVM.
• Collaborate with SoC, CPU, hardware, and validation teams to deliver production-quality solutions.
• Define platform software requirements for industry standards compliance (ARM SBSA/SBBR/ACPI/UEFI).
