Role Summary:

Serve as the primary Arm & Hammer Turkey Account Manager, managing relationships with large, business-minded turkey producers and their network of influencers.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain productive business relationships with targeted turkey producers to increase sales of products.
  • Identify and develop relationships with key turkey industry influencers to expand product penetration to other farms.
  • Develop and execute regional sales and marketing plans.
  • Identify and demonstrate the need for core offerings with influencers and their turkey customers.
  • Use account plans to identify and fulfill customer and influencer needs (product info, training, data monitoring, etc.) to support increased sales.
  • Establish and maintain communication within the targeted market.
  • Maintain and update customer and influencer information in the CRM system.
  • Travel 60–75% throughout the US.
  • Communicate distribution requirements and issues to the Sr. Sales Manager.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.

Education and Experience:

  • BS/MS degree in related fields preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in selling within Turkey or similar industry.
  • Proven track record of growth and achieving goals.
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships and handle multiple priorities independently.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Understanding of production records and analysis.
  • Knowledge of monogastric nutrition and economics.
  • Financial benchmarking skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office.
  • Understanding of large modern farm production characteristics.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Characteristics aligned with the Specialty Products Division: committed, responsive, credible, respectful.
