The LINE Austin is seeking a dynamic Restaurant Barback to join our team in Newtown, CT. You will support bartenders, maintain a welcoming service area, and help ensure smooth service in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments.
• Provide guests with an enjoyable experience aligned with service standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of sequence of service for each guest.
• Display knowledge of the POS system to coordinate with team members.
• Stock and maintain bar area and supplies with cleanliness and organization.
• Assist coworkers to ensure a great environment for guests and staff.
• Perform additional duties as requested by management.
• Possess knowledge of all food and beverage aspects of the restaurant.
• Maintain awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel.
• Participate in departmental and administrative meetings as requested.

We are seeking a dynamic Restaurant Barback to join our team. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

• Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
• Establish and maintain good communications and team work with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel
• Offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to the company’s standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness
• Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of the sequence of service, following this sequence for every guest
• Possess knowledge of the POS system to correctly and strategically coordinate with team members
• Stock and maintain bar area and bar supplies, ensuring superior cleanliness and organization
• Assist coworkers in any task necessary to ensure a great environment for guests and coworkers
• Execute any additional employee duties requested by management
• Possess expert knowledge of all food and beverage aspects of the restaurant
• Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel
• Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested
