GCyber is seeking a Windows System Administrator to support our government customer in Arlington, VA. This night shift role centers on ownership of the Windows environment within a mixed-OS infrastructure and requires strong technical leadership.

You will drive Windows Server strategy, design enterprise infrastructure, monitor health and performance, and coordinate with Linux SMEs for cross-platform issues. A TS/SCI clearance and IAT II certification are required.

• Experience administering Windows Server environments with focus on uptime and reliability.
• Strong knowledge of security baselines, hardening, and compliance alignment.
• Ability to provide cross-platform support by coordinating with Linux SMEs.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and IAT II certification required.

• Serve as the senior SME for Windows Server environments, driving strategy and architecture decisions.
• Design, architect, implement, and sustain enterprise Windows infrastructure.
• Own health, performance, and availability; monitor trends and implement improvements.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and incident resolution with root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
• Establish enterprise standards, baselines, and hardening guidelines aligned with security frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to system administrators and engineers.
• Lead system lifecycle activities including patching, upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
• Provide Linux cross-platform support by coordinating with Linux SMEs.
