The role requires a high school diploma or GED and prior construction experience is preferred. You will operate heavy equipment, follow safety protocols, and support site operations in outdoor conditions at the Gore, OK location.

Qualifications

• Previous construction-related experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate rubber-tired or crawler tractors with front-end scoop buckets safely and efficiently.
• Excavate and load materials from pits, stockpiles, and batch plants; load trucks as needed.
• Maintain workplace safety and follow OSHA/MSHA regulations.
• Lift materials weighing 25–50 lbs as required.
• Communicate clearly with co-workers using hand signals and eye contact during equipment operation.
• Follow Foreman directions and daily task assignments.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and basic servicing; report major issues to Foreman.
• Complete daily pre- and post-operation inspections and document findings.
• Assist in training less experienced team members on equipment operation, service and repair.
• Perform general labor tasks to support site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate rubber-tired or crawler tractors equipped with front-end scoop buckets safely and efficiently.
• Excavate and load materials from pit sites, stockpiles, and batch plants; load trucks as needed.
• Maintain a vigilant approach to workplace safety for yourself and your team.
• Lift materials weighing up to 50-100 pounds unassisted when required.
• Communicate clearly with co-workers, using hand signals and maintaining eye contact, especially when maneuvering equipment in shared workspaces.
• Adhere strictly to company policies and all OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe work practices.
• Follow direction from the Foreman regarding daily tasks and project expectations.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor servicing; escape major issues to the Foreman.
• Complete daily pre- and post-operation equipment inspections, documenting findings according to company guidelines.
• Assist in training less experienced team members on equipment operation, service, and repair.
• Perform general labor duties as required to support site operations.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involvingphysicalagility.
• Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height.
• Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs. as needed.
• Workprimarily outdoors, often in extreme weather andenvironmental conditions.
• Comfortableworking in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loudenvironments.
• Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience or training in construction or related field preferred.
