Job summary

Answers In Genesis Group operates Ark Encounter in Williamstown, KY, seeking a Retail Specialist team member to support a positive guest experience in a faith-guided environment.

You will help with inventory, assist guests with product and attraction inquiries, and may cashier as needed in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith.
• Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church.
• Flexibility with schedule that allows for working first or second shift as needed, any day of the week, and holidays.
• Customer service skills: friendly and courteous with guests.
• Strong oral communication skills: comfortable giving directions to guest.
• Basic math skills: accuracy in cash and financial transactions with guests.
• Good problem-solving skills and decision-making ability.
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand and move about throughout the attraction for the entire length of shift.
• Bend and lift between 25 to 75 pounds.

• This role is primarily responsible for inventory control. This consists of unloading pallets, unpacking boxes/totes, pricing and labeling products, replenishing sales floor from backstock, store recovery, and maintaining stockroom organization.
• Maintain a safe environment for guests and staff by ensuring walkways are clear of products, boxes, and spills.
• Proactively greet and assist guests on the sales floor with product and attraction inquiries.
• Cashier when needed.
• And all other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
