Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an Area Industrial Market Sector Leader for the Arizona & New Mexico area. The role focuses on Industrial Sector projects, client management, and pursuit leadership to drive growth and market leadership.

Responsibilities include managing key client relationships, coordinating staffing, and promoting HDR services across the Resources Business Group and Industrial Practice Leads, while aligning with HDR’s employee-owned culture and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, planning or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of industry experience.
• Experience developing and managing strategic marketing programs for planning/engineering services.
• Experience managing client relationships and program pursuits.
• Experience with staff development including recruiting and career path planning.
• Active participation in industry associations with market visibility.
• Ability to collaborate with HDR leadership and drive area goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Client Manager for selected key clients within the area.
• Promote HDR services to clients with the Resources Business Group Manager and Industrial Practice Leads.
• Lead pursuits through client relationship development and strategy participation.
• Identify investments to maintain HDR industrial leadership.
• Develop relationships with Industrial Sector counterparts in other firms.
• Coordinate staffing and recruiting plans for key hires.
