Job summary

Clarvida is hiring a Developmental Home Licensing Worker to support Yavapai County, AZ, ensuring licensing compliance and program integrity for Article 9 individuals. You will monitor homes, conduct visits, and prepare Behavior Treatment Plans.

Role requires knowledge of DES/DDD, valid driver’s license, ability to travel in Northern Arizona, and licensure requirements. Full-time, in-person position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or Human Services or related field.
• Five years’ experience with developmental disabilities, child welfare services or social services (or ten years’ experience if no degree).
• Ability to obtain Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license with clean 3-year record.
• Vehicle liability insurance and registration.
• Ability to pass DES clearance with no substantiated reports.
• Article 9 instructor certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor homes licensed under Article 10 and 11 to ensure licensing regulations are met.
• Conduct home visits 1–2 times monthly; manage amendments and renewals.
• Write Behavior Treatment Plans as required by Article 9.
• Attend annual PRC meetings and advocate for individuals in licensed homes or DD foster placements.
• Maintain caseload and ensure program integrity and compliance.
