Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Security Manager for Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. You will lead the security team, ensure guest and employee safety, and oversee staffing, payroll, and training to support both daily operations and events.

The role requires hands-on leadership, collaboration with law enforcement, tenants and partners, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professional standards in a high-energy arena environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; related field acceptable.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in security, public safety, venue operations, event management, hospitality, or related field, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Ability to successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings and maintain any licenses, certifications, or qualifications required for the position.
• Strong knowledge of security and public safety principles and applicable laws for a public venue.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for event and non-event security operations, providing leadership during incidents.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) for assigned events.
• Coordinate scheduling and staffing for Target Center events and daily operations.
• Manage departmental use of ABI, including scheduling and payroll functions and staff training.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of part-time Security staff and ongoing development.
