Job summary

Legends Global in Glendale, AZ, seeks a Parking Manager to lead parking and event-day traffic operations at Desert Diamond Arena, ensuring safe, efficient, and guest-focused movement.

Under the Director of Event Services, you will plan and implement traffic-control plans with the City of Glendale, oversee parking facilities, staffing, equipment, and revenue controls, and develop a high-performing event workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports or Event Management, Hospitality, Transportation, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in parking, traffic, transportation, venue, or event operations, including supervising part-time/contracted personnel.
• Current ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) certification or ability to obtain within six months.
• Ability to complete and maintain training to perform and supervise work under Desert Diamond Arena’s Brookfield barricade certification, including traffic-control plans.
• Experience planning and executing parking and traffic operations with staff deployment and guest service.
• Knowledge of temporary traffic-control principles and local regulatory requirements.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day parking operations ensuring safe, efficient, guest-focused service.
• Develop and implement annual traffic control plans in coordination with the City of Glendale and stakeholders.
• Plan parking logistics for arena events including lot assignments and routes; oversee staffing and vendor deployment.
• Lead event-day parking operations, including briefings and communications, adjusting to conditions.
• Manage departmental budgets, payroll, purchasing, and performance reporting.
