Job summary

Oak View Group seeks a Manager, Operations to support the PeoplesBank Arena in Connecticut. The role covers administration, planning, budgeting, and direction for front and back of house services, technical services, IT, conversion, custodial services, and inventory control.

The position offers an annual salary of $65,000-$75,000 with full-time benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with matching, and paid time off. Open until October 16, 2026.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of increasing responsibility in facility operations, including housekeeping, conversion, and technical services.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize quickly.
• Proactive self-starter with strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and interface with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage all staff involved in housekeeping, conversion, and technical services.
• Develop, maintain, and manage operating procedures for housekeeping, technical service, 24-hour facility security, and conversion.
• Manage day-to-day ice surface maintenance in accordance with AHL regulations.
• Develop preshow department staffing estimates of expense for the Event Manager and Accounting.
• Review and recommend day-to-day operational policies and procedures for the Operations department.
• Research, review, and recommend equipment, materials, and supplies for the Operations department.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations.
