Job summary

Spokanecenter is seeking a Tech Specialist for North Bank venues during Arena, Podium, and Stadium events. This part-time on-call role supports operation of a broad range of audio, video, and theatrical systems.

You will manage cameras, audio and lighting equipment, plus playback and switching gear, while delivering guest service to staff and attendees. Flexibility for event-based shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 1–2 years AV experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the principles, techniques, and theories of technical systems.
• Experience with audio visual systems and/or camera operation preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operates technical systems and equipment, keeping abreast of tech developments.
• Runs video cameras, audio consoles, lighting consoles, and related gear.
• Maintains technology, systems and equipment.
• Provides guest service to employees, contractors, attendees.
• May train users in startup and basic use of AV equipment.
• Reports client feedback to supervisor promptly.
• Brings independence to devising new methods and procedures.
• Handles a broad range of activities across facilities.
