Job summary

Concrete Strategies Inc. is seeking an Area Vice President to drive performance and growth across an assigned market. You will own the Area’s P&L, develop strategic plans, and lead a regional team, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability.

You will work closely with the Director of Construction to align on strategy, client relationships, and long-term objectives while traveling within the area to ensure execution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in construction operations or business-unit leadership.
• Proven experience leading teams, projects, operating areas, or business units.
• Strong knowledge of construction operations, scheduling, cost control, safety, and project execution.
• Demonstrated experience with P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and margin management.
• Ability to lead sales and business development while maintaining operational discipline.
• Experience developing operational leaders and project teams.
• Strong communication, coaching, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the Area P&L including revenue, margins, forecasting, and profitability.
• Develop and execute Area business plans with Finance and regional leadership.
• Review budgets, staffing, project performance, forecasts, and risks.
• Hold leaders accountable for financial targets and discipline.
• Lead weekly project health and risk management across the Area.
• Build client relationships and lead growth initiatives.
• Ensure safety, quality, schedule adherence, and cost control.
• Collaborate with Director of Construction on project planning and execution.
• Travel regularly within the assigned Area to manage operations.
