Job summary

LYFE Kitchen is seeking an Area Supervisor for Southern California, overseeing 5-7 restaurants in the Los Angeles area. The role focuses on executing the regional business plan while upholding LYFE Kitchen standards and brand integrity.

The candidate will lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of staff, ensure safety, and represent LYFE Kitchen in community relations. Relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of multi-unit supervision experience in casual or upscale restaurants or hotel concepts.
• Proven strengths in P&L discipline, sales and guest service.
• Recruiting and developing top talent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Culinary background is desirable.
• Graduation from hospitality management or culinary school is desirable.
• Able to relocate.
• Ability to pass pre-hire assessment and background review.

Responsibilities

AREA SUPERVISOR - SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

A summary of this position's duties is as follows:

Supervises restaurant operations within an assigned area of 5-7 restaurants. Ensures that the annual business plan for the area is achieved while maintaining or exceeding LYFE Kitchen standards. Provides leadership to the recruitment, onboarding, training, supervision and development of all team members in the area with particular emphasis on keeping a full pipeline of "next up" leadership team members. Serves as assigned area's senior LYFE Kitchen community relations and brand executive; teaches and reinforces the LYFE Kitchen brand elements. Ensures the safety of all restaurants, guests and team members.

Requirements

In order to be considered for the position of Area Supervisor, candidates shall possess the following:

• 2+ years current multi-unit supervision in casual or upscale restaurants or hotel concepts
• Verifiable strengths and record of accomplishment in:
  - P&L discipline
  - Sales and guest service
  - Recruiting and developing top talent
• Potential for future growth at LYFE Kitchen
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Culinary background (desirable)
• Graduation from 2-yr or 4-year hospitality management or culinary school (desirable)
• Able to relocate
