Job summary

The Area Supervisor at Legacy Maintenance Services, LLC leads multiple cleaning teams across facilities, directing daily maintenance, supervising staff, training and managing time and budgets. You will ensure high-quality cleaning results and safety compliance.

You will report to the Operations Manager, coordinate schedules, monitor supplies, and mentor associates to meet customer expectations while controlling costs and improving service quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisor experience preferred.
• Experience in commercial cleaning.
• Strong commitment to high-level service and quality standards.
• Ability to stand for 95% of an average week.
• Physical tasks: walking, bending, twisting, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to drive up to 90 minutes one-way.

Responsibilities

General Description

The Area Supervisor will be responsible for leading multiple teams of employees at various facilities. This person is responsible for the daily maintenance of all facilities, to include direct supervision and training of associates, management of time and budgets. Supervises and coordinates activities of associates engaged in cleaning and maintaining assigned facility.

Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Training team to meet customer and company expectations on their duties, proper chemical use, and safety.
• Reports daily to the Operations Manager on the status of completed and ongoing work.
• Facilitates the proper use, care, and maintenance of equipment under the direction of the Operations Manager.
• Ensure daily that cleaners have proper equipment, chemicals, and supplies to successfully complete their assigned work.
• Performs assigned jobs and is available to respond to emergency service requests when necessary.
• Assures customer satisfaction by evaluating and correcting unacceptable job results.
• Participates in Company training programs.
• Performing monthly inspections.
• Work with operations manager on staying within set labor and supply budgets.
• Working with operations manager on schedules and any issues that arise.
• Report issues, challenges, opportunities, safety concerns and issues, maintenance issues, employee issues to operations.
• Keep track of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Ability to coach, motivate, develop, and lead teams.
• Other tasks or duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Position Requirements

• Walking, bending, twisting, climbing, turning of head and torso, crawling, reaching, flexing the arms and legs, and stooping as necessary.
• Lifting and carrying weights up to 50 pounds to include wearing of backpack vacuum for extended periods.
• This position requires individuals to be able to drive up to 90 minutes one-way.
