Position Overview

The Area Supervisor is part of Store Leadership, responsible for specific store areas and overall store operations during their shift. Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, supervising associates, maintaining a friendly shopping environment, ensuring merchandise presentation, and executing operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety & Security: Prioritize safety, monitor the sales floor, maintain building security, and respond to alarms.
• Customer Service: Treat all customers and staff with respect, demonstrate professionalism, and recognize team members.
• Store Appearance & Merchandising: Maintain cleanliness, proper merchandise presentation, and organize stockrooms.
• Loss Prevention: Follow loss prevention policies, safeguard merchandise, and monitor security systems.
• Front End Operations: Manage checkout processes, train staff, control break schedules, and ensure equipment functionality.
• Fitting Rooms & Administrative Tasks: Oversee fitting room maintenance, handle cash and deposits, and assist with payroll and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills and fluency in English.
• Experience in customer service and supervision preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Ability to perform basic math, work evenings/weekends, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Physical & Other Requirements

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift as needed. Stockroom shifts may require lifting over 20 lbs.
