Position Summary

The Area Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the successful operation of custodial services as outlined in the schedule of Operations at facilities to which they are assigned.

• Train, coach, guide, and directly supervise assigned personnel.
• Plan and organize all custodial operations.
• Perform continuous inspections of facility areas, taking appropriate actions as needed to resolve sub-standard or non-conforming performances.
• Continuously evaluate methods, procedures, processes, and materials to improve performance and reduce operating costs.
• Establish and maintain effective employee relations.
• Allocate work as needed due to shortages, special requirements, or events.
• Take immediate action on routine complaints; report serious issues to the Director of Operations, Operations Administrator, or Senior Management.
• Review and verify timekeeping reports by payroll deadlines.
