Job summary

Nox Group in the United States seeks an Area Superintendent to steer data center and mission-critical construction projects. You will drive safety, quality, schedule, cost, and client satisfaction while leading high-performing field teams in a demanding environment.

This role requires strong leadership, extensive construction knowledge, and hands-on use of scheduling tools. OSHA 30 certification is preferred; on-site management experience in major builds is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of construction practices and project delivery.
• Ability to lead project teams and hold them accountable to goals.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Emphasizes safety and quality culture for foremen and craft workers.
• Develops and mentors foremen to perform at high levels.
• Guides field engineers on survey/layout needs and scheduling requirements.
• Assists with schedule development, pull plans and Last Planner System implementation.
• Prepares work plans and reviews them with Field Engineer and Foreman.
• Reads and manages budgets for labor, equipment and consumables with commercial awareness.
• Ensures crews are properly staffed and resources are available.
• Ensures timely completion of reports and forms (timesheets, daily reports, safety/quality forms).
• Leads QC coordination for scope and projects.
• Participates in daily and weekly project meetings; escalates field issues to leadership.
• Assists in lift drawings development with Field Engineer.
• Builds strong relationships with owners, clients, engineers, and trade partners while ensuring compliance.
• Plans and safely executes Hazardous Energy control, TE, Working at Heights and confined space.
