Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Area Superintendent to oversee ground-up luxury multifamily projects in the Central Florida region, reporting to the Lead Superintendent. This on-site, permanent role offers a competitive base salary with a performance bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in supervision on multifamily or commercial builds, deep knowledge of scheduling and safety protocols, and the ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors while maintaining schedules

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
• Experience supporting ground-up multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality, or commercial projects preferred.
• Exposure to cast-in-place concrete construction is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and scheduling.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Superintendent with daily field operations on a ground-up high-rise/mid-rise multifamily project.
• Coordinate subcontractors and monitor daily work activities.
• Help maintain the project schedule and identify potential delays.
• Conduct daily site walks to ensure quality control and adherence to plans and specifications.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and company safety policies.
• Coordinate inspections with local municipalities and third-party inspectors.
• Review construction drawings and proactively identify potential field conflicts.
• Assist with project documentation, daily reports, RFIs, punch lists, and closeout activities.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and manpower are available to maintain project progress.
• Foster positive relationships with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and ownership teams.

Job Details

This individual will work alongside the Lead Superintendent to ensure the project is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
