Atlas Copco Specialty Rental Division North America is seeking an Area Sales Manager - Steam (West Region) to drive growth in boiler rental solutions across the region. You will leverage technical expertise and a customer-centric approach to expand the base, upsell services, and coordinate with engineering and operations to deliver solutions.

The role requires proactive field engagement, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple opportunities with minimal day-to-day direction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC, generators, chillers, boilers, or heat exchangers, and rental/leasing background.
• Experience in field sales within industrial equipment or rental sectors.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Expand existing customer base within the assigned territory to promote Atlas Copco SRDNA boiler rental business.
• Travel within the territory for planned visits and cold calls to generate new opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical staff to provide site assessments, sizing, and solutions.
• Coordinate project specs with operations to meet timelines and requirements.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategies.
• Prepare progress reports on opportunities and customer activities for management.
