Position Overview

Dav El | BostonCoach is seeking an energetic and committed self-starter to join our Sales team. The successful Area Sales Manager (ASM) should come from the ground transportation or corporate travel Industry with experience selling to C-level buyers and procurement managers. The ideal candidate is someone with a solid network who can quickly excel at articulating a value proposition to inspire confidence, highlight technology and service differentiators, and be able to help us grow our managed corporate business. The ASM reports to the Vice President of Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for an annual New Business Revenue Quota
  • Responsible for prospecting and generating new business opportunities among Fortune 1000 target companies
  • Responsible for growth and retention of existing clients
  • Maintains good relationships with key, high ranking individuals with designated accounts
  • Effectively present to Corporate Travel Managers and procurement via phone, web and in-person meetings
  • Articulate and demo Dav El | BostonCoach's technology and service differentiators
  • Maintain an active role in travel industry functions, travel trade shows and other events
  • Build relationships, trust and rapport for repeat business within assigned territory
  • Build Territory Plan and review plan quarterly with manager
  • Team player who works productively with peers, Manager, Client Services, Marketing, Finance, Operations, IT, Product and HR personnel

Qualifications

  • Ground transportation or Corporate Travel Industry experience required
  • Four (4) years’ experience of new business quota performance
  • Proven ability to achieve/exceed new business sales and existing client revenue goals
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent work experience
  • Some travel required (<20%)
  • Position is fully remote/work from home, however, the ideal candidate should be within driving distance to 5558 General Washington Drive, Arlington, VA.
