Western Funding is a subsidiary of Westlake Financial Services, providing automobile financing to borrowers with limited access to traditional credit. Our Area Sales Managers are individuals with the vision and dedication needed to help our dealer partners sell more cars and trucks by financing more customers.

Job Description

What’s the role? Our Area Sales Manager is the face of the company to our dealers. The focus is to increase funded deals by partnering with suitable dealers. This role involves identifying, onboarding, and managing dealer growth in the respective region, using a consultative sales approach to establish strong relationships and demonstrate how our programs can help their business grow.

This is a full-time position reporting to Regional Sales Managers. Candidates should be based in the US, comfortable working remotely and traveling as needed.

Responsibilities
  1. Present and communicate company products and services to all levels of management within dealerships.
  2. Identify and contact potential sales prospects.
  3. Follow-up on leads and referrals from calls and meetings.
  4. Develop and grow dealer relationships.
  5. Maintain effective communication with dealer partners.
  6. Train dealers on Western Funding processes and documentation.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of automotive, finance, and sales sectors.
  • Experience in financial services or car dealerships.
  • 1-2 years in a sales role with proven success.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques like warm calling and appointment setting.
  • Strong computer skills and adaptability.
  • Results-oriented and able to work independently and in teams.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
  • Willing to travel up to 75%; valid driver’s license required.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $54,000 - $125,000/year + commissions; average earning after 1 year: $79,000; top earners: $125,000. Benefits include health insurance, 401K, employee stock ownership, wellness programs, paid time off, and more.
