Job summary

PointGuard AI is seeking a highly motivated Regional Executive to drive sales and customer acquisition in the New York area. What we need

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Executive to join our dynamic and growing team. This is a full-time remote role focused on new business and customer acquisition in the US East Coast region, specifically the New York area.

As a key member of our sales team, you will drive revenue growth through targeted strategic sales initiatives focused on our AI and Application Security solutions. You will identify and contact potential clients in industries such as Financial Services and Pharma/Healthcare, present product demonstrations, and negotiate contracts.

You will work closely with teams including marketing, support, and product development to ensure customer success.

What You’ll Do

  1. Execute a regional sales plan to identify, engage, and develop prospects, achieving sales targets by expanding the customer base within the region.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, to understand their needs and position our solutions effectively.
  3. Manage customer evaluations through Proof of Value processes, collaborating with technical teams for success.
  4. Lead negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring terms align with company and customer objectives.
  5. Collaborate with Sales Leadership and Marketing to develop go-to-market and lead generation campaigns.
  6. Track and report sales performance metrics, forecasting, and pipeline management using CRM tools.
  7. Represent PointGuard AI at industry events to promote our brand, generate leads, and establish thought leadership in AI Security.
  8. Travel within the region as required.

Who You Are

  • Located in the New York area, preferably NYC metro, with ability to work remotely and travel as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of successful enterprise sales experience in cybersecurity, AI, Data Governance, or Application Security industries.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, capable of working independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of AI, Application Security, machine learning, LLM Models, MLOps platforms, and threat/data protection concepts.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, able to translate technical solutions into business benefits.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with influence at all organizational levels.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and GTM tools, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
