Job summary

Flowers Bakeries has an immediate opening for an Area Sales Director in Alabama. You will support DSD sales and Independent Distributors, manage key accounts, grow the customer base, and track sales data to identify opportunities for growth in the market.

Collaborating with a Market Vice President and Sales Enablement, you’ll analyze market opportunities and maximize sales, using insights to refine strategies and drive promotions in stores.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Support DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors).
• Manage customer relationships, engage in sales activities and grow the customer base.
• Track sales data and use insights to adjust market strategies; ensure promotion and display execution.

Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities

Flowers Bakeries has an immediate opening for an Area Sales Director. An Area Sales Director is responsible for supporting DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors). In this role you will support IDs’ efforts to manage customer relationships, engage in sales activities, grow their customer base, seek new selling opportunities in the market, and track sales data. You will build and maintain solid customer relationships with key accounts, that will help ensure promotion and display execution in the market. Utilizing digital tools, you will be able to show execution wins and opportunities for continued growth. The Area Sales Director will work with a Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team to analyze market and territory opportunities to maximize sales, while using consumer insights to adjust sales strategies.

Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales. Experience as a sales rep, distributor, or other sales position required.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience
