Job summary

Mars is seeking an Area Maintenance Lead 3 to oversee maintenance and reliability for an assigned production area. You will lead maintenance planning, drive RCA investigations, and coach technicians to improve asset performance.

Responsibilities include planning shutdowns, leading PM programs, and ensuring safe, compliant maintenance on high-speed packaging and plant equipment. This role requires hands-on leadership and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of maintenance or reliability experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting knowledge.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS (SAP/Maximo/eMaint/Fiix).

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities and resources in the area.
• Plan and execute planned maintenance shutdowns to minimize downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement in asset reliability and performance.
• Provide technical leadership and after-hours support as needed.
• Coordinate with area leadership to develop and execute CI strategies.
