Job summary

QCS Staffing seeks an Area Quality Manager for a US Texas project in life sciences. This initial 12-month contract supports a new-build facility delivering world-class quality oversight across construction, testing, audits, and commissioning.

You will lead NCRs, drive punch lists to closure, and ensure contractor compliance with project specifications and quality standards, enabling smooth turnover and startup readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quality Manager on large pharma, biotech, or life sciences construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage contractor quality through construction, testing, turnover, and startup.
• Strong background in mechanical, piping, utilities, and equipment installation inspections.
• Experience leading NCR management and quality issue resolution.

What You’ll Deliver

• Provide overall quality oversight of construction activities within the assigned area.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, audits, and quality assurance activities.
• Monitor contractor compliance with project specifications, procedures, and quality standards.
• Manage NCRs, quality observations, punch list items, and corrective actions to closure.

What you’ll need:

• Experience in a Quality Manager role on large- scale pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, or industrial construction projects.
• Proven experience managing contractor quality performance through construction, testing, turnover, and startup phases.
• Strong background in mechanical, process piping, utilities, equipment installation, and construction quality inspections.
• Experience leading NCR management, quality audits, inspections, and resolution of quality issues.
