Job summary

TEi Construction Services seeks an Area Manager to lead operations in a designated TEiC area, building customer relationships and delivering cradle-to-grave project leadership. This role reports to the Regional Director and requires strong focus on safety, estimates, and strategic execution.

The Area Manager will prepare and approve area estimates, drive proposals, and oversee project activities while coordinating with sales staff. Strong risk management and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Sound understanding of project controls and project risk management tools.
• Technical knowledge of power plants and power equipment.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment; capable of adjusting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and reviews area estimates; facilitates transition to proposals.
• Leads RFQ evaluation and bid/no-bid decisions based on strategy.
• Submits proposals through TEiC processes.
• Builds relationships with new and existing customers; collaborates with sales staff.
• Monitors project activities ensuring compliance with procedures.
• Reports project status to senior leadership and flags challenges.
• Leads risk analysis and recommends solutions.
• Oversees project reviews from identification to closeout.
• Coaches and mentors team; recommends corrective actions when needed.
• Completes commercial, operational, and company reporting on schedule.
