Job summary

Walmart is seeking a logistics supervisor to implement strategic plans and oversee staffing, safety, and productivity at the Plainfield facility. You will lead teams, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to policies while coordinating workloads and delivering results for customers and the business.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business/Logistics with supervisory experience.
Walmart Logistics experience or Walmart Logistics Management training.
Completion of required trainings and assessments (Academy, Open Door).

Responsibilities

Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (eg customers, suppliers, associates).
Implement the business plan for area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety).
Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports.
Maintain quality and safety by training associates on logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, and maintaining procedures and documentation.
Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns and determine corrective actions or recommendations.
Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, monitoring performance, and providing feedback, training, and coaching.
