Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Massachusetts to lead a team of hourly workers and drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, and HR to meet objectives and ensure customer orders are delivered on time to the right location.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, lifting up to 49 lbs, and standing for long shifts in variable conditions typical of delivery stations. A flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Do you currently hold a valid and active USA state drivers license?

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in a noisy environment and variable temperatures.
