Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager for our WW Operations network in New Castle, DE. You will lead a team of hourly associates, driving safety, quality, attendance, and performance while ensuring on-time delivery to the right location.

You will coordinate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and HR to plan for business objectives. You will work in varied environments, including outside loading areas, with shifts up to 12 hours, and lifts up to 49 pounds.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with safety, engineering, loss prevention, quality assurance, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in loud, temperature-variable environments including outside loading areas.
