Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly coworkers across our fulfillment network. You will engage and coach the team during shifts to sustain safety, quality, attendance and performance, while helping meet on-time customer deliveries.

The role requires coordinating with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA and HR to reach business objectives. Expect lifting up to 49 pounds, long hours, and work in variable, potentially noisy conditions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in environments that are loud, with variable temperatures and weather.
