Amazon in Indiana (Elkhart) is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly employees and drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery performance. You will partner with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, and HR to implement plans that meet business objectives and support customer expectations across the network.

The role requires 2+ years in people and performance management, a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) or 2+ years with Amazon, and the ability to work a flexible schedule

Qualifications

2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
Flexible schedule/shift including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of hourly workforce and engage shifts to maintain safety, quality, attendance, and performance.
Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to meet business objectives.
Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours during shifts.
Work in environments with variable temperatures and noise; stairs may be involved.
