OnTrac in Nashville, TN is seeking an Area Manager to oversee all sort activities and volume in an assigned area, driving efficiency and improvements. You will lead a team, coach performance, and coordinate with the facility operations manager to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in logistics/shipping/3PL with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Ability to evaluate data and present findings clearly.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic mathematics.
• Strong communication skills for giving feedback.
• Experience hiring, training, and evaluating employees.

Responsibilities

• Manage, staff and schedule a team of Package Handlers and Lead Package Handlers in an assigned area.
• Monitor progress, provide feedback, identify improvements, and address performance.
• Lead pre-sort meetings, set daily goals, and communicate safety priorities.
• Record arrivals/departures and manage volume flow from Linehauls.
• Perform safety training, audits, and end-of-shift reporting.
