Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a proven operations leader to oversee multiple asphalt plant operations across East Texas. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on building teams, improving performance, and driving business results.

In this role, you'll have responsibility for the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of multiple facilities while partnering closely with construction, paving, and sales teams to support customers and grow the business. You'll influence the full value chain, from production and maintenance to project execution and market development.

What You'll Do

• Lead the operations and maintenance of multiple asphalt plants across East Texas.
• Build and champion a safety-first culture where employees go home safely every day.
• Develop, mentor, and coach plant managers, supervisors, and operations teams.
• Improve plant performance through increased reliability, efficiency, quality, and cost control.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and capital improvement projects.
• Manage operating budgets, inventory, procurement, and production planning.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with paving and construction teams to align production with project schedules and customer needs.
• Provide leadership and oversight to field construction and paving crews.
• Collaborate with sales teams, estimators, and customers to support project planning, customer satisfaction, and market growth.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance profitability and operational performance.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in asphalt, aggregates, construction materials, manufacturing, heavy civil construction, or a related industry.
• Experience leading production operations and field construction teams.
• Strong understanding of asphalt production, maintenance, equipment performance, and construction operations.
• Experience managing budgets, capital projects, and operational performance.
• Proven ability to influence, communicate, and collaborate across multiple functions.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
