Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager in Chattanooga, TN to lead a team of hourly staff and uphold safety, quality, attendance, and performance standards. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet delivery promises across First, Middle, and Last mile operations.

The role requires 2+ years in people and performance management, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (or 2+ years Amazon experience), and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and nights.

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in variable temperatures and noisy environments.
• Climb and descend stairs where applicable.
