Airgas is hiring for an Area Operations Manager in Henderson, CO, overseeing production, distribution, and lab operations in the gases business. The role directs plant, distribution, and lab managers, plans production, and ensures compliance with Hazmat, DOT, FDA and state regulations.

Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential. Qualified candidates have 10+ years in bulk/gas industries, a high school diploma or GED (prefer bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field), and

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years experience in the bulk/gas industry or equivalent production environment.
• FDA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, and Hazardous Materials experience.
• Audits and training on SOPs and regulatory compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present to leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Directs and controls activities of production, fill plant, and distribution departments.
• Plans production operations, establishes priorities, and sequences for manufacturing.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with Hazmat, DOT, FDA and state regulations.
• Oversees plant, lab, and distribution managers; trains and evaluates staff.
• Manages cylinder inventory and vendor certifications; resolves customer issues.
