Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly staff and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will engage your team during shifts to maximize performance and align with customer expectations for orders delivered to the right time and location.

Roles involve partnering with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA and HR to meet business objectives. Expect a dynamic environment with physical tasks and varying schedules across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand or walk up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in noisy environments with variable temperatures and weather.
• Climb and descend stairs at sites with stairs.
