Job summary

Amazon.com is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates across the WW Operations network. You’ll focus on safety, quality, attendance, and performance while delivering orders to customers on time and at the right place.

You will partner with Safety, Engineering, and HR to hit business goals, manage a flexible schedule including weekends and nights, and supervise a dynamic environment with varying temperatures and noise levels across delivery stations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in variable temperatures, noise, and outside loading areas.
• Lead site workforce to deliver on-time customer orders.
