Stake Center Locating, a leading provider of utility locating and damage prevention services, seeks an Area Manager, Locate to oversee workload distribution, customer relations, and field supervision across our nationwide operations.

You will mentor supervisors, coordinate IT and purchasing, review reports, and ensure safe, accurate locating work. Expect long hours, weekend work when needed, and potential travel to job sites.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean background check for access to restricted areas.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to pass random drug screens and stay drug free.
• Computer literate and able to use locating systems.
• Ability to locate and interpret PDR/damage reports.
• Strong interaction with public, customers, contractors, and staff.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.

Responsabilités

• Oversee workload distribution and staffing.
• Manage customer relations and field interactions.
• Coordinate with Corporate on priorities.
• Handle IT and purchasing with homeowners and the public.
• Oversee disciplinary actions.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment for safety and compliance.
• Order and manage inventory.
• Mentor Supervisors for performance improvement.
• Assist in damage resolution and locate accuracy.
• Interpret reports (PDR, audits, production).
• Assist in difficult locate jobs when needed.
• Maintain adequate force to meet load requirements.
• Conduct performance reviews for staff.
