Job summary

Stake Center Locating, a national provider of utility locating services, is seeking an Area Manager, Locate to lead field teams and coordinate workload, safety, and quality across projects. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to interact with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

• Clean background check for access to restricted areas.

• Ability to pass random drug screens and remain drug free.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to locate and perform a PDR or damage investigation.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.

The Area Manager, Locate will be responsible for performing the following duties:

Qualifications

Requirements

• Experienced in effective leadership in the locating industry.
• Excellent communications skills oral and written.
• Comprehensive understanding of underground utility construction and placement required.
• Successfully complete company provided Locate Technician training program and pass all required testing.
• Requires long hours when necessary. May require weekend and holiday work when necessary.
• Some travel maybe required including overnight stays and out of town assignments and or training.
• Must have above average computer skills.
• Three to five years’ experience.
