Job summary

Commercial Metals Company in Cayce, SC seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee shipping/receiving operations and daily work plans for manufacturing crews. You will ensure safety, productivity, and inventory accuracy while guiding teams to meet production goals.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in shipping/receiving and proven management skills, with strong communication and a focus on building a positive work culture.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in shipping and receiving in warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated strong management skills and experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and organize multiple efforts to accomplish goals.
• Strong focus on positive work culture and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Monitors production levels on a continuous basis to insure employees are productive and striving to meet production schedules
• Must be able to establish departmental goals, both financial and non-financial, with clear work plans
• Must champion Safety and promote safety by example in all aspects of the operations
• Enforces all company policies including safety and government safety regulations
• Builds strong engagement within the team by effectively communicating the department's strategy and goals to the team
• Develop a daily work plan for assigned crews
• Responsible for inventory accuracy, cycle counts and control of all materials
