Job summary

Commercial Metals seeks a hands-on supervisor to monitor production and lead daily operations in our shipping/receiving and manufacturing environments.

You'll champion safety, set departmental goals, manage inventory accuracy, and communicate strategy to your team, ensuring adherence to policies and continuous improvement. A HS Diploma with manufacturing experience is required, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree.

What You'll Do

• Monitors production levels on a continuous basis to insure employees are productive and striving to meet production schedules
• Must be able to establish departmental goals, both financial and non-financial, with clear work plans
• Must champion Safety and promote safety by example in all aspects of the operations
• Enforces all company policies including safety and government safety regulations
• Builds strong engagement within the team by effectively communicating the department's strategy and goals to the team
• Develop a daily work plan for assigned crews
• Responsible for inventory accuracy, cycle counts and control of all materials

What You'll Need

• 2 years experience in shipping and receiving in warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated strong management skills and experience in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to motivate and organize multiple efforts to accomplish goals
• Strong focus on positive work culture and employee engagement
• Strong SAP aptitude

Your Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelors degree preferred
