Job summary

Great Clips is seeking an Area Manager to oversee our locally owned salons. This leadership role combines hands-on salon management with multi-location oversight to drive performance and ensure exceptional customer experiences.

You'll develop salon managers, strengthen brand standards, and coach teams across locations. The ideal candidate has salon or multi-unit retail leadership experience, with a focus on coaching, accountability, and results.

Qualifications

• Previous salon management or multi-unit retail leadership experience.
• Valid Cosmetology or Barber license (state dependent).
• Ability to manage daily operations while coaching others.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work across multiple salon locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee one salon and support a small group of nearby locations.
• Develop salon managers to improve sales and customer experience.
• Ensure brand standards and operational excellence across locations.
• Collaborate with General Manager/franchisees to align goals.
• Monitor performance and drive results across locations.
